"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes. In each spike is a hundred grains. Allah multiplies the reward for whom He wills."

— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261)
Why This Project Matters

Meeting a critical need for our growing community.

Sydney's Muslim community is expanding rapidly, yet dedicated Islamic education facilities remain scarce. Nur ul Ilm Academy has served Sydney for years from temporary venues — it's time we built something permanent: a campus that enables expansion, stability and generational impact.

The Goal & What We're Building

A Permanent Home for Knowledge, Faith & Community.

This campaign will fund the purchase of a dedicated building for Nur ul Ilm Academy Sydney — giving our students, teachers and community a stable, purpose-built space to learn and grow together.

Dedicated classrooms for Arabic, Shariah, Tafseer, Hadith & Fiqh
Youth & children's hub for the Hubb and Kahf programs
Library & quiet study spaces stocked with classical Islamic texts
Women-led learning halls run by qualified scholars
Community hall for events, workshops and seminars
A purpose-built home for the next generation of learners
What Makes Nur ul Ilm Unique

Five pillars that shape every student who walks through our doors.

Authentic Sacred Knowledge

Rooted in the classical Islamic tradition, taught by qualified scholars with unbroken chains of transmission.

Prophetic Character Development

Education that shapes the heart as much as the mind — patience, sincerity, mercy and excellence in every action.

Adab & Etiquette

Beautiful manners as the foundation of every interaction — with Allah, with knowledge, with people.

Community Building

A meeting place for families, neighbours and scholars — where ties of brotherhood and sisterhood are strengthened.

Youth Development

Programs that guide young Muslims through identity, confidence and purpose in a complex world.

Your Impact

Every contribution becomes a sadaqah jariyah.

A building that serves education and worship is among the most enduring forms of ongoing charity — its reward continues long after we are gone. "Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim." — Sunan Ibn Majah
